I love to photograph people. I love the honesty of relationships and want to capture those connections in my images. It is my great joy to create a beautiful piece of art for my clients that will become a treasured family heirloom; an image that future generations will look at and immediately see and feel the love, connection, and relationship shared.
Creating finished art pieces is my goal. Not just the image alone, but the entire presentation, whether that be an elegant frame chosen specifically for your home and decor, or a custom designed album, card, or canvas.
You may be able to find cheaper photographers. But you won't find many others who will take a more personal interest in you and your images.
If you want something more than the mass marketed mall photo -- give me a call.
Our style of photography takes the best of both worlds; classic Fine Art mixed with the casual California lifestyle.
Choosing a photographer is a very personal thing. You not only must be confident in the photographer's technical skill, follow-through, and trustworthiness, but you also must mesh with their vision, style, and personality. Feeling confident and comfortable with your photographer is essential to great portraits.
One of my earliest experiences with art was as a young child, hanging out in my grandparent's downtown Los Angeles art studio/apartment, surrounded by canvas and pallets, the pungent smell of oils and turpentine. I first became interested in photography in high school while working as an assistant at a local studio. But, it wasn't until my children were grown that I took the time to go to school and study photography formally.
I hope that my unique combination of technical skill, artistic eye, experience, and family sensitivities will be a good fit for your needs.
